MAC FRUIT ATTRACTION, THE WORLD’S INTERNATIONAL FRESH PRODUCE TRADE SHOW BRAND, celebrates its second edition in Cairo, in April 2017.
IFEMA of Spain and CESENA FIERA of Italy, two exhibition organizers of events for fruit and vegetable producers, joined forces to create a new global brand for the fruit and vegetable sector, MAC FRUIT ATTRACTION, with the aim of developing specialized events for this industry in strategic markets.
The organizers of the industry-specific events, International Trade Fair of Fruits and Vegetables in Spain and MACFRUT - Fruit & Vegetable Professional Show in Italy, created a new platform that will encourage the positioning of international professional network of fruit and vegetable companies, thanks to direct access to new strategic markets, allowing them to engage with local operators and establish business relations. MAC FRUIT ATTRACTION is a global brand with plenty of international opportunities that can adapt to the peculiarities of each market. The Second professional exhibition of MAC FRUIT ATTRACTION is being held in Cairo from 22 to 24 April 2017, concurrently with FoodAfrica, after the agreement with IFP Group, the leading exhibition operator in the Middle East, covering the geographical area of Middle East and North Africa.
Renzo Piraccini, president of MACFRUT, stated: ‘With this agreement, the largest global network for the internationalization of the fruit and vegetable sector was born. Macfrut and Fruit Attraction are two platforms with a global vision in order to serve that chain”. He added that “The creation of this new project, Mac Fruit Attraction, born from the synergy between the two world leaders in the technologies of production and packaging, will lead the companies of this domain into new emerging markets, and into the area of the Persian Gulf, North Africa, South America and Asia”.
Raúl Calleja, director of Fruit Attraction, underlined that “Mac Fruit Attraction aims at growing and establishing itself in the global market of fresh product, in alliance with strategic partners in key local markets of its sector. This new, young, dynamic and flexible network is able to adapt to the specific needs of each market”.
Tamer Safwat, general director of IFP EGYPT, organizer of FoodAfrica, highlighted the opportunities for the international fresh fruit and vegetable industry, as Egypt is a very active and dynamic area in the production as well as import and export of fruit and vegetables. “FoodAfrica is the perfect location to launch Mac Fruit Attraction in April 2017, especially given the success of the last edition, with the participation of 10,260 trade visitors and 290 exhibitors from 28 countries. We are planning to enhance the global offering of our exhibition through the sector of fresh products”.
IFEMA enhances its international dimension and continues to increase its international growth, exporting its know-how in trade fairs to emerging markets, making it particularly attractive for Spanish companies seeking to pursue overseas business.
